Every small business has a story. Ours has four paws, a white muzzle, and the sweetest eyes you’ve ever seen.

This is Sammie. She’s a corgi-beagle mix, 16 years young, and the heart and soul of Little RuffRuff Sweet Treats. She didn’t ask to be a brand mascot — she just kept showing up in the kitchen, watching us work, and reminding us every single day why we do this.

She Started Slowing Down — And We Started Paying Attention

Getting older is part of life for our dogs, just like it is for us. As Sammie moved into her senior years, we noticed the small changes that every dog owner. knows — a little less spring in her step, a little more time needed to get comfortable, a little more intention behind every treat we gave her.

She wasn’t sick. She was just getting older. And we wanted to honor that.

We Wanted Cleaner Ingredients — So We Made Them Ourselves
